We are being renovated. God has moved us to a new foundation in Christ, and he is adding rooms and wings here and there, and tearing out old appliances and fixtures and rotting boards. We are a dwelling. We are his dwelling. Which means he gets to redecorate, reorganize, and get comfy. Houses can't resist their owners. Houses don't talk back and say nope that plant looks great right were it is. Houses just chill. They reflect the care of their owner. Some houses are falling down because they are neglected and abandoned. Others are shiny and welcoming and wonderfully cozy. God will never "leave us or forsake us." He is at home. He is working around the house keeping it clean and making it better. We are God's domestic to do list. :)

Renovations
Ephesians 2:19-22 "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit." (NIV, my emphasis)
